Inception (prev. OP Crypto) is a high conviction, early-stage venture capital firm that connects Asia and the West by investing in founders & asset managers that build game-changing global products and business models in the Web3 ecosystem. We have successfully raised two funds so far:

Inception Ventures Fund I is a $50mm+ venture fund dedicated to supporting early stage (pre-seed and seed) projects across the Web 3.0 space, focusing on innovative consumer applications and infrastructures across gaming, social, NFT, creator economy, etc. We’re backed by top tier institutional players such as Animoca, Galaxy Vision Hill, Digital Currency Group, Republic, and Bybit, in addition to many notable angels such as Bill Ackman and Alan Howard. The team has extensive experience in the crypto space as both investors and power users.

Inception FOF I is a $30mm+ crypto fund of funds dedicated to making strategic investments in emerging venture fund managers with specialized vertical or geographical expertise. OP FOF I is the first crypto venture fund of funds exclusively focused on investing in emerging managers on a global-scale. Utilizing our extensive network and fund experience, the team is able to add value to these fund managers via operational, fundraising, and deal flow channels.

What we’re looking for

We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Communications Lead to steer our firm’s global brand growth and elevate awareness of our portfolio of groundbreaking startups. As Communications Lead, you will be responsible for managing the full-stack of marketing tasks and functions (including socials, branding, investor/portfolio relations, community management). The ideal candidate is:

• Passionate about Web3 & VC
• highly crypto-native, or willing to dive deep into the industry
• solid understanding of the crypto community and trends in the space
• Organized & Composed
• able to juggle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• keen attention to detail when executing tasks

Responsibilities

• coordinate and manage brand communications across our social platforms, with a focus on **Twitter**
• draft and post regular, crypto-native content to express our passion for Web3
• enhance community engagement and growth over socials
• maintain branding consistency across external platforms (such as our *website*, *email communications*, *fund decks*, and *socials*)
• guide our marketing strategy to cultivate brand equity and enhance our global reach
• foster strong, long-term relationships with media partners, event organizers, and relevant blockchain agencies
• secure speaking roles for major blockchain conferences or high-profile podcasts
• facilitate media coverage and press publications
• support in coordinating and managing events and meetups with external partners
• ensure effective communication with attendees and registrants
• A Communications maestro with strong interpersonal skills
• able to create regular content that resonates with a range of audiences
• excellent at cultivating relationships, fostering connections, and collaborating with others
• Comfortable with being a leader
• strong strategic insights and understanding of public relations
• leads by example to deliver results and inspire high-performance
