About the Role:

Limit Break is looking for a Lead Storyboard Artist to work on an exciting new IP! You will help set out the look, timings, and points of view of the sequences.  In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling story moments. You will interpret and accurately translate the vision of the Game with the Creative Director. Your storyboards will be used by the rest of the Game production team as a guide for the production process. This role requires a diverse mix of experience in both mobile and PC/console for casual to hardcore games.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with the Director(s), Producers, Designer(s)and Art team to realize storyboards that reflect the tone of the gamePitch boards to all major stakeholders

• Meet with creative leads to discuss objectives of storyboard
• Partner and closely collaborate with creative department heads to review goals 
• Understanding of Anime >
• Understanding of the principles of animation
• Create the vision for the storyboards and discuss concerns, timelines and complexity given parameters of the schedule
• Responsible for completing all deliverables on time and according to production schedule 
• Collaborate effectively with the major stakeholders to storyboard and visualize the story
• Create game storyboards and characters, storyline, and other aspects such that the actions and products of the team match Limit Break’s creative vision

Requirements: Who you are and what you’ve done: 

• 8+ years of experience working as a storyboard artist in film, video gaming, and all forms of moving media
• Create Storyboards for the scenes assigned
• Understanding of Anime >
• Understanding of the principles of animation
• Adaptability in working with different creative leaders who will demand varying degrees of complexity from storyboards 
• Knowledge of various >
• Experience in game development or feature film and demonstrated success in like position through your portfolio
• Demonstrates strong and efficient drawing abilities that convey acting, staging and action
• Full proficiency in Adobe illustrator
• Knowledge of the principles of storytelling
• Ability to interpret the ideas of others into detailed drawings
• Strong layout and design skills
• Skills in both hand drawing and computer drawing
