Halfway through 2023, a TEAMZ WEB3 SUMMIT brought MetaOasis to a successful conclusion for the first half of the year.

During this grand WEB3 gathering, MetaOasis was not only interviewed and reported by many Japanese media, but also met many like-minded Japanese Web3 builders and many new Japanese users who recognized MetaOasis’ vision.

It’s time for us to update the progress on products since the first half of 2023, as well as introduce MetaOasis to old friends who are supporting us all the time and new friends who think very highly of us.

MetaOasis is the all-in-one web3 game publishing platform, building a digital-native world and the future of interactive entertainment.

Based on years of professional game R&D foundation, blockchain operation experience of senior team, and the accumulated 53-million global users base, MetaOasis will support more quality games to break through time and space restrictions and become unique planets that continue to shine in the Web3 universe.

In terms of product research and development, in addition to continuing to complete the original plan, our R&D team has achieved great innovation and completed milestone results in platform infrastructure and ecosystem products.

MetaOasis SKD Alpha 0.8 Test Completed

The MetaOasis SDK is dedicated to achieving game-focused and efficient development through the easy deployment of zero restrictions, allowing developers to avoid obstacles to Web3 technology barriers.

In addition, the DAU data in the MetaOasis integrated SDK will become the cornerstone of platform games and the entire ecosystem. It allows users to accurately and easily find games that meet their preferences, and also helps developers face the real f users’ needs and achieve more appropriate optimization.

Technical center- Interstellar is Taking Shape

A large and ambitious ecosystem requires a strong infrastructure to support it. Therefore, when MetaOasis series of infrastructure tools are introduced one by one, and as the number of list games gradually increases, also the group of incubation studios continues to grow, we realized that MetaOasis was in desperate need of a technical center with a collection of tools to help developers optimize and iterate on the product to make users experience the new web3 world of MetaOasis more smoothly and seamlessly.

In the first half of 2023, Interstellar was born as an infrastructure integration as well as a technology hub to connect various ecosystems, with a collection of web3 tools including but not limited to:

• Unobstructed MetaOasis Marketplace across chains
• MetaOasis wallet which can easily switch between Web2 and Web3
• Token launching and efficient tools purchasing
• 1P Council

In addition to the above milestones in the development of products, the technical and art teams of MetaOasis have also accomplished a series of achievements in blockchain interaction, IDO testing, art planning and implementation through one-on-one support to the two quality game studios we have incubated.

AstraOmniRise

Astra: OmniRise is a Web3-based MMORPG game that explores the universe, where players will discover a mysterious and unknown galaxy. Within this galaxy, there are many different planets, space stations, and other explorers, each with its own unique culture, society, and history. Players will need to explore various locations in this galaxy, meet different characters, learn about the culture and history of the galaxy, and discover hidden secrets and wonders within it.

MetaOasis discovered AstraOmniRise, a game with very high-quality mechanics, structure, and even narration, in March this year through the SDK’s public testing activities. Still, its team’s development of the game progressed very slowly due to the lack of experience in Web3 development and operation.

However, after a month of professional evaluation by the MetaOasis Lab and the consultant team, we decided to invest in and incubate Astra in order to help this high-quality game develop more efficiently, launch faster, and accurately find those users who truly enjoy it, so that Astra can become a shining star on the Web3.

Since Astra’s world is set in an unknown galaxy, the spaceship will be a very important item in the game, but due to the lack of quality art talent on Astra’s team, the design of the spaceship is always unsatisfactory.

Therefore, MetaOasis has shared with Astra a series of ships NFTs previously made by our senior artists, which we believe will soar into the vast skies of the AstraOmniRise world in the future, leading their holders to unknown mysteries.

In addition, with the art team of MetaOasis at the helm, the magnificent scene map of the Astra series caught the attention of several funders and practitioners in the GameFi circle as soon as it was released. With more in-depth communication between Astra and MetaOasis, all these resources will help Astra realize its vision faster.

In May, with a full range of incubation support from technology, art creation, and project management, Astra completed the entire process of getting zkSync testnet from front-end to back-end, from development to testing, in less than a month.

Likewise, Astra’s website has been developed more efficiently than before, thanks to MetaOasis’ all-around help with the UI design of its website!

Defence of Future

Defence Of Future(DOF) is a fast-casual battle game with tower defence as the core. The game is based on the mechanics of tower defence, with both players using mechas, buildings, and unit cards to cooperate with each other to destroy the enemy base to win.

Defence Of Future focuses on the PVP experience with light operation and heavy strategy. It will use traditional tower defence, TCG card, and competition to combine each other, creating an easy and fast fighting experience．

In terms of other technologies, mechanisms and structures, MetaOasis will also provide all-round assistance to DOF in the future. We are confident that DOF will bring a wonderful experience to all gamers.

The above is the progress of MetaOasis’ self-developed and incubated project development in the first half of 2023.

Last but not least, we would like to share with you good news in advance that MetaOasis has accepted the invitation of the organizer of Non Fungible Tokyo 2023, and will go to Japan to participate in Japan Blockchain Week 2023.
