Today we would like to introduce you to a new game called Dookey Dash. produced by the famous studio Yuga Labs, the team behind Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT series.

Dookey Dash is a skill-based escape game in which players must dive into a sewer, avoid obstacles, and collect fragments as they navigate through a time-space portal that has been overrun by powerful cosmic debris.

How to be eligible for Dookey Dash?
Users must hold a Sewer Pass in order to play the game. The Sewer Pass will be available for free application starting January 17th, and only BAYC/MAYC holders can apply via Sewer Pass application channel between 17 January 2023 to 8 February 2023. However, according to official information, once the Sewer Pass is obtained, it can be transferred or traded, meaning that non-BAYC/MAYC holders can also participate through the secondary market.

Game Lore:
The story of Dookey Dash is based on Jimmy the Mokey, the third monkey produced by Yuga Labs. The Bored Apes were enjoying their drinks when Jimmy went to the bathroom, and after he was finished, a soldier suddenly rushed out of the toilet and gave one of the Bored Apes a golden key and a chest. Because the apes were too excited to celebrate, they threw the golden key into the sewer. Jimmy followed the key into the sewer and discovered a strange world full of treasure and danger.

Gameplay

Sewer Pass holder will compete for the highest score in the Dookey Dash game and earn a new power source summon, which will be determined by their highest single-game score and the balance of their specific Sewer Pass.

The player’s score will depend on the items they collect in the sewer, the obstacles they destroy, and the amount of time they survive. Higher scores will result in higher-level power source summons. The closer the player’s score is to Jimmy Monkey’s butt in the sewer run, the more likely they are to obtain the key to the treasure chest, with the highest scorer receiving the key. In case of a tie, the honor will go to the first player to achieve the highest score.

The Sewer Pass will be divided into 4 levels based on the BAYC/MAYC held by the holder at the time of application or the combination of BAYC/MAYC and BAKC (which can only be upgraded and not cast), each level with its corresponding score rewards. The higher the level, the greater the bonus, and the greater the chance of receiving better rewards.

Users can combine BAYC or MAYC with BAKC to receive a higher level Sewer Pass. When a user holds multiple BAYC, MAYC, and BAKC, there will be multiple options.

For example, if a user has two BAYCs and one BAKC, they can use one BAYC and one BAKC to apply for a Tier 4 Sewer Pass and use the other BAYC to apply for another Tier 3 Sewer Pass. If a user holds multiple Sewer Passes, they can choose which pass to use before starting the Dookey Dash game.

Anti Cheating Mechanism

The gameplay of Dookey Dash involves linking the scores the user earns in the game to a wallet participating in Dookey Dash. If a user transfers a Sewer Pass to a wallet that has not participated in Dookey Dash using the Sewer Pass, the score in the new wallet for the Sewer Pass will be reset to zero. In other words, a single Sewer Pass can only be combined with one wallet to earn scores until the end of the game. This measure prevents users from cheating by creating multiple addresses.

The Sewer Pass obtained through the secondary market or gift does not change the corresponding BAYC or MAYC related all level benefits applied when initially applying. However, if the received Sewer Pass has been used to play the game before, any previous scores will not be added to the new address that received the Sewer Pass and the new address score will start from zero.

Timeline:
Before the game starts, users can purchase energy packs, which will provide a triple booster that lasts for 10 minutes at the cost of 2 APE tokens. Energy packs can be purchased unlimited times. Users have 3 weeks to play the game as many times as they wish.

On February 8, 2023, the combination of the Sewer Pass and the corresponding wallet used to play the game will have their scores frozen, and the skill-based minting game will end. The Sewer Pass and corresponding wallet reflect the user’s scores, so the Sewer Pass must be kept in the same wallet used to play the game. This means that the user must have the same Sewer Pass in the same wallet as when playing the game on February 8, 2023 when Dookey Dash ends.

From February 8 to February 15, 2023, users can transfer or trade their Sewer Pass. During this period, only transferring or trading the Sewer Pass will not reset the score to zero.

On February 15, 2023, Sewer Passes with scores greater than zero in the wallet will be eligible for conversion to a mysterious new energy source (more details will be updated by the official information). The Sewer Pass with the highest verified score will also receive the key.

Summary

In summary, to make a Sewer Pass eligible for conversion to its corresponding content, users must perform the following actions:

• Obtain a Sewer Pass (BAYC and MAYC holders can apply for free, and it can also be traded on the secondary market);
• Play Dookey Dash with the Sewer Pass, at least once and with a score higher than 0 (just having the Sewer Pass is enough, there’s no need to have BAYC/MAYC);
• Keep the Sewer Pass in the same wallet used to play the game until the end of Dookey Dash on February 8, 2023.
