Game Introduction

Nine Chronicles is a free RPG game. The story takes place in a vast fantasy world. Players will play as a little adventurer, roaming among the nine kingdoms, collecting the rarest treasures, fighting the most dangerous enemies, and finally become famous in a generation of heroes. The whole game is supported by a complex economic system, where supply and demand are the real market makers.

Create your character

1. Account creation

(1) Run the game client, click the main game image, and a registration dialog box will appear. Click the “Create Account” button to create a new account.

(2) Set a password and click the ‘GAME START’ button.

2. Create a new character

(1) Each account can create 3 roles. Just click the ‘+ NEW CHARACTER’ button.

(2) You can change the hair, eyes, ears, and tail at will to create the customized character you prefer. After making your decision, click the ‘CREATE’ button.

Role status

· HP: Hit Points. If they reach 0, you lose

· ATK: Attack power. i.e., how much damage you can inflict on enemies

· DEF: Defense power. i.e., how much you can defend yourself against enemies’ attack

· CRI: Critical strikes’ ratio

· HIT: Hit. The higher the HP, the higher the hit rate of the attack

· SPD: Agility. Characters can have more action turns than enemies

(3) Name the character. Nicknames must be between 2–20 characters and can only contain alphanumeric characters. Confirm by clicking the ‘OK’ button.

(4) Done! It’s time to start exploring the game world of Nine Chronicles.

Start your first adventure

1. Ready to go

(1) Enter the adventure world through the glowing portal.

(2) Activate the world. When the game starts, you can only go to Alfheim. After passing through several levels, areas on the map will be unlocked progressively.

(3) You can see the detailed information of the level on the right side of the screen. You can start from the first level. Click ‘Enter’ to enter the game.

(4) On this page, you can choose the equipment items used in this adventure. Decide carefully to start with the right step. When ready, click the START button. It will take 5 actions.

2. Combat phase

After the last block is completed, the battle starts, and its process is fully simulated. Therefore, choosing what equipment items to enter into action is fundamental to winning. You’ll be able to watch the entire battle.

· Want to repeat the current stage? Click the “Repeat” button in the lower right corner of the battle scene. After the battle is won, you can review the entire battle process.

Victory

Win battles to earn experience points. As you level up, your character will become more powerful.

The battle rewards for each level are graded. You need 3 stars to reach the next level, or you have to start all over again. In addition, you can obtain materials through combat and use them to craft items. More information can be found in the “Item Creation” section.

Defeat

After losing a battle, you can only get some experience points…

Players can level up in simple levels; in practice levels they can swipe monsters to get better equipment.

Click the “Main” button to let the hero start over.

Crafting

Players must reach level 4 to activate the item creation feature.

You can use the collected materials to craft new items. A total of 3 types of items can be created.

Equipment

There are various recipes for crafting gear. Gather materials during the battle to get better recipes for your equipment. Each recipe has different probabilities of getting a good outcome, and the results may vary slightly.

Consumables

You can make food out of materials. Food can only work on a single level, but the effect is powerful. If you create a lot of delicious food, there will be additional effects, which will be very useful for exploring advanced levels.

Upgrade

You can combine existing gears with items of the same tier for gear upgrades. This helps level up if you have a lot of gears from the same level. Upgrading equipment consumes gold.

How to trade items

Players can activate the commodity trading function at level 18.

The goal of Nine Chronicles is to be a fully decentralized P2P MMO, so neither the in-game NPC nor the game company will sell any items to players. Since all the items trading occurs between players, the market economy will determine the price of items.

Sell

You can list your products on the sales list. If you submit an item list, the items in the list will no longer be available.

Purchase

You can use gold to buy items on other players’ sales lists. The trading interface will randomly display 16 items; you can use the refresh button to find the item you need.

how to fight with other players

Players can fight against each other from level 50.

In Nine Chronicles, players have 5 possibilities to fight other players every day. Once PvP is open, you can compete with the others. If you maintain a high ranking, you will get rewards.
